Default Exhaust pops on decel really bad

After I had the SE Heavy Breather installed (already had V&H Short Shots) i noticed my bike pops a lot on deceleration or when accelerating and right after shifting. Sometimes it sounds like i get backfire once or twice during a decel. Does anyone know what could be causing this issue and how it can be fixed?

Did you reconfigure your EFI management to accomodate for the additional air that the SE HB is bringing in?????

Well the dealer that installed it supposedly did a remapping after the install was done.

Having attended the Power Commander Training Classes, presented by Dan Berkes, from Dynojet, his words were that there are 2 ways to get rid of deccel popping. Either drown it, or starve it. He feels the latter works best.

So, did you actually have it TUNED with an EFI management tool, or was it a Stage I legal download, that you paid $150 for....

If by chance it was the download, it was not designed for that configuration... That "Flash" was designed for the SEAC and SE Legal slip-On mufflers ONLY....

You should be running either a PC, SEPST, TTS or other management device to accomodate the additional air, and lack of backpressure.... So, if it is one of these, you would have had to have it TUNED, and if decel pop still is present, then the "Tuner" didn't do it properly...
