Default 2010 Street Glide Exhaust

I'm considering the SE nightstick in place of the stock muffler on my 2010 SG. I'm curious how the sound of the nightstick compares to stock.

it's louder and deeper than stock. Will bark a bit when you get on it. Quiet at idle

I just got this exhaust for my 2010 and I think it's pretty much what I wanted for sound.

I posted sound clips in this thread that include 'behind bike with stock exhaust' , 'behind bike with nightstick' and two more acceleration clips.

Thanks! Very helpful in making my decision. Question: are the clips with the SE heavy breather and re-map? or just the nightstick? Thanks again.

Thanks! that's what I've heard from my parts guy at the dealer. It makes sense given that it's 50 state approved.

Sound clips are with just the exhaust. I have not added the heavy breather or done the remap yet.

I want to try another recording with the mic behind the fairing. The sound clips that I posted are not truly accurate as the exhaust is not nearly as loud as the clips make it appear. They are quiet at idle and at steady throttle as choppers4life1 mentioned but do give a nice sound when accelerating that isn't overly obnoxious.
