Default Differences between SE 16ga DBL Barrell and VH Bigshot Staggered...

I am ordering some upgrades tommorrow and had some questions... I have a 2006 FLSTI Heritage (basically a fatboy) and am doing exhaust, air cleaner, and programmer. I have decided on the arlen ness Big sucker air cleaner, a Fule Pak or Pwer Commander, and either the SE Dbl barrell pipes, or the VH Big shot staggereds.
My questions are...What are the difference in the pipes other than I can get the SE ones for 100.00 cheaper? 419.00 on the VH and 299 for the Screamin Eagle double barrells.. Supposedly they are both made by VH. Dont know how the heat shields are on the SE's...and how they sound either...but the look real similiar. Any help or people with the SE's?

I must tell you, i had my V&H Big Shot Staggered pipes put on Saturday and they are AWESOME!!!! They have great heat shields and the sound is unbelievable..... I don't know on the SE, but if they sound like the slip-ons...pass! My roommate had the same bike as you (FLSTI) and she got rid of the SE within a month.

The SE pipes look the same as the V&H, but they are totally different.
The SE mufflers are one big chamber, more like a two into one, with a two into one sound.
The V&H uses a small cross-over right at the bends.
The V&H sound ten times better too.
