A cam change would help a bit.
An ev27 bolted in, tuned with a good exhaust runs nice.

for a bit more to beat those twin cammers, a Wood tw6 with some slight head messaging, compression bump, igntion and a tune you will be running.

Any mild aftermarket cam along with free-flowing air cleaner and exhaust will have you as fast or faster than a stock-cammed TC88. As to what cam, it depends upon how you want the bike to run. If you want the kind of power where you just twist the throttle at 70 and can zip by whatever's in front of you, then a cam like the EV13 or 27 will do the job. If you want real racing speed, where you need to downshift a lot to get the revs up in the power band, then a longer duration cam that closes the intake later is the ticket.
