Default what jets?

just bought a 95 heritage and it starts running hot when i ride out on the highway for about 15 mi.it has a mild cam that i was told was about the same as a andrews b.i checked the jets and the pilot is a 48 and the main is a 165.the 165 seems a little small to me.any info from you? thanx,DAVE

the 165 is probably a dyno jet kit jet. they generally run smaller. If it is a stock CV40 then I would go with a 185 main. If it has a dyno jet kit all bets are off. I tried a dyno jet kit once on my mild 95 build and ended up using a 170 dyno jet main but it was still too rich and I could not find a smaller one at the time.

Throw a 175-180 in that and monitor what it does.
