Default air cleaner

When I had my new pipes put on at the dealership they re jetted and installed a new S E air cleaner. I told the dealer to keep my air cleaner cover stock. When they installed the new air cleaner it looks like the bolted on the new air cleaner then put my factory cover back on. My question is they left off they very back black piece of plastic. is this correct? My air cleaner is wide open in the back now and the carb is very visible.

Thats what my paperwork says. stage 1. I just walked out into the garage. It looks like the stock black plastic piece was replaced with a cast aluminum braket assy that has the filter then my stock cover. Looks like this is correct then?
