Can someone give me an idea of what the charge is for case boring?

 

I don't know but probably not too much.
I use Axtell.
If I ever get cases bored I will sent them to a name shop that does this all the time and get Axtell cyl matched to that.
Probably go stroke at the same time.
And Temkin left side bearings
Ane anything else that needs to be done then.
Do not go cheap on the foundation.
Cost too much.

I like working on these things but I really like riding, trouble free, the most.

We have bored engine cases for big bore application for well over 25 years.
Remember when a 93" Shovel was a "BIG" engine.
That said, Axtell dictates a 2-step bore process, that dedicated diameters, as well as depths, be adhered to, as per their instructions that are packaged with their cylinder kits.
Typical charge for T/C case boring, and establishing the thru, center bolt is 250.00 most places.
