Default Fuel additives

My scoot has a S&S Super E carb.Is it advisible to use carb cleaner products or sprays or would the best method be to pull the carb and manually clean it.It is an old carb but works great and has never been " fondled" /for a lack of better words......run with it guys..

Lots of folks us Seafoam as a carb cleaner and fuel stabilizer, what symptoms are making you think the carb is bogged down??

I put a little Chevron techtron in the tank once a month to keep the carb
clean.

I agree with the Seafoam useage, but carb cleaner won't hurt it either.

All my vehicles get a little carb or injector cleaner every once in a while. It's cheap, and it never hurts anything. And I've never had to pay to have my injectors cleaned with the fancy machine. When I take carbs apart for rejetting or new gaskets, they are always clean in there.
