modifying stock mufflers?
I bought a set of stock mufflers on ebay and I want to get alittle more sound out of them.I have SE slip-ons now but somebody modified them before I bought the bike and I have tried to quiet them down with no luck.My mechanic tried to take out the baffles and wrap them but was only able to get the baffles out alittle bit and wasn't going to spend all day on them,he gave me a pair of baffles to weld in but I am afraid that might make the pipes more quiet than stock.
Any suggestions is appreciated.

Thanks for info but I am going to try and get to the baffles already in my SE mufflers before I buy more baffles.
My mufflers are not on a CVO ,they are are on a stock '04' Electra Glide.
Does anybody have any suggestions on where I can get diagrams on messing around with this stuff?
This can't be trial by error!
