Question Exhaust wrap is HOT!

Last spring I wrapped my shortshots with DEI exhaust wrap from Advanced Auto. It turned out great and really like the look. Only problem is it's really hot on my leg. And if i wear shorts, it's almost unbearable. I don't want to put the heat shield back on but might not have a choice. My question is, can I put a second wrap over the first one to help with this? I've also considered a couple small flame heat shields right where my leg is.

What could it hurt.
Remember it is coming out of the head at about 1300 Degrees F. It's gonna still sizzly if you touch it with the human body parts

Naw You got to stick one of your fingers in a wall socket then touch the burnt out bulb. That should fix all your problems.

You could always paint the heat shields black (or partially black) and put 'em back on.
