P Trap....?

Default P Trap....?
I work with a contractor from SC who is a big Harley guy. A few years ago he met another contractor from Australia who was also a big Harley guy. Long story short the Aussie gave him something called a P Trap to put in his carb. He tells me it made a noticable boost in performance but I can't find anything about them online. Does anybody know what he is talking about?

Probably a water trap to separate water form the gas. Waterless ges equals better burn.

My thought would be that its one of those winged venturi deals that splits the airflow into the carb making for higher air velocity at low rpms when the slide isnt open very far...Or essentially mimicking a small carb on the low end.

I use them on my KTM dirtbikes.
