I am accepting suggestions on how to get the accelerating pumps guide cup into the pump well without tearing it apart. I am told it is supposed to be soaked in something but no one seems to know exactly what. Sulfuric acid maybe? Kidding.

Any help will be appreciated. Not willing to make Tedd Cycle wealthy from my dollar.
