Default Fuel alloy pellets??

I've done a few searches on here but can't find any info on this.

I've been using a fuel additive for a few years now called Liquid Horsepower or LHP. Seems to work fine, no complaints.

I went to my local Harley dealer a few days ago to get another bottle (~$7.00) and the counter guy tried to push me into buying these pellet things that drop into the tank. They are about 1.5 inches long and probably 3/4 inch in diameter. There is a plastic outer casing which holds four metal alloy pellets. There are two of these things in the package and the guy says that you drop both of them into the fuel tank. These little things are pretty heavy! I hate to think what that is doing rolling around in there to the fuel sender, etc...?

The snake oil salesman said "It will greatly inhance the power, improve your gas mileage and will last for like 250,000 miles." The price was right at $50.00 out the door for these things.

Anyone know anything about them???? Unfortunately I forgot the producer or it's trade name, sorry.

Default called Fitch Fuel Catalyst

I called up the HD dealership and got ther name of this stuff. It's "Fitch Fuel Catalyst."

I have read a few reviews on the web, but I don't know if they are put out by Fitch, etc.

Thanks in advance for the input.

I don't think anything like this works.
You are right to say snakeoil.
All kinds of snakeoil in this world.

I can sell you some Super Duty HD V-Twin Pellets for $20 each that will last for 1 million miles and will double your fuel mileage in some engines.
Trust me!

We had them here when they first came to market, years ago.
Cognitive word is "HAD".

Maybe my wording came out wrong and mislead you, but I DID NOT buy this Fitch stuff. I was curious and decided to ask all the smart guys on here about it first. Since I've heard so much negative stuff I probably wont try it.

What is bothering me about this thread is that everyone has a negative comment...but... nobody has tried it and can testify that it works or not.

Thanks all for the input.

I really should be putting toluene and xylene in little aluminum canisters, adding a few drops of mineral oil and ATF and retiring next year. There really is no limit to how good folks can otherwise be swindled out of hard-earned money.

Take any worthless product, give it mystical properties and push the sales like there's no tomorrow. Even if every single customer in the end thinks it bs, the money has been made, and it's on to the next adventure. This is a good example of one.

Switch the atf for Marvel and you have a reasonable product. Octain boost with upper cyl lube. I want 50% of the take.
