I have a 2009 ultra classic I will be installing a stage 1 air intake do I need to get a power commander or will the harley down load work just as good slip on pipes will follow.

 

a power commander will give you more flexibilty and allow you to cool your engine down more.

if all you ever plan to do is slip-ons and a A/C, then the download is appealing for it's simplicity, but it doesn't do anything about the lean condition of the otherwise stock motor.

 

Ageed.I have the stage 1 download and air cleaner with a set of V & H double barrels.It's rideable and runs ok.But it is still lean.Hot!I got a fuel pak but having trouble installing it.No room!

 

TTS or power commander. i highly recomend the TTS as it is for tuning harleys. the power commander is still a good choice altho has its limits.
