Oil pressure Light

Oil pressure Light
I have a 07 Ultra.
It has a oil presure switch and an idiot light in the speedo face.
The icon that looks like a car engine stays on. I think that's a oil light.
I have oil pressure on the guage. Plenty of oil on the crankcase.
Question is. Where does the light get its signal?? do both indicators use the same transducer??
I have a set of schematics for a '05 model, but it didn't have the oil light. Must have been added since 05.

The icon that looks like a car engine is the "check engine light". I beleive it
s located in the speedometer next to the security indicator light. The oil light is in the center indicator strip with the neutral light. At least this is how my 01 Ultra is set up. My oil light normally goes out as soon as the engine fires and the oil gauge starts to rise a second or so later.

In your book you can find where it will tell you how to retrieve the codes so you can see what triggered the light.
