Its not a problem, just limiting your choices in the present and future... And, "non N" cams can be found for less money... And, I prefer to use as much "standardized" stuff in everything I do rather than proprietary. Just trying to help in case you were not aware of the differences since you asked for thoughts and opinions... Enjoy, the 26 is a great choice!

Also, your kit should come with the newer oil pump, so you will not need the Baisley spring.

Oh, yes, I understand, and it's a good point. I've read a few threads discussing the new kit from Harley vs the N cam way. Someone posted the install sheet from the HD kit and there are even more parts you have to order listed in the instructions. After you gather all the various pieces the HD kit is not much cheaper if you include the non-N TW26s and you have an experimental situation with the rear chain. With the N cams you get the full blown 07 chest which is pretty much tried and proven.
