Default Head pipe turning red?

Might have always done this but I just noticed it today. Bike had highflow air filter and rinehart true duals. Also had a fuelpak on it when I got the bike. I know absolutly NOTHING about the fuelpak or its settings. What I do know is the bike runs great and fuel mileage is right where I want it. Running it on the lift today the rear head pipe was right at eye level and I noticed the rear headpipe for about 6" or so was red. Is this normal?

2nd question, does the fuelpak require software or something to adjust? I looked at their website but got info overload. All the fuelpak says is "fuelpak 12"

Any help. I am leaving on a trip friday and hate to jack with it before I leave but .......

Thanks!

I believe you just go through the 14 or so setting and then set each one at the desired 0-10, or 0-20 or something like that.
if all else fails call V&H I would think they have a web site to help...
have U even done a google search on it...???? bet there is something on line
