hey all.... sure hope somebody knows this.....

is an '01 "A" engine case a direct fit bolt in replacement for an '06 "A" engine case? (I know the LH crank bearing is different)

I guess a better ? would be... can I take an '01 touring bike engine (with '01 crank) and put it in an '06 touring bike with no modifications to either the bike or engine?
will all the "external" stuff bolt up, like the primary, tranny, compensator, cam plate, oil lines, etc.?

DUDE.. thats an engine builder ? not many everyday riders are going to know this one..

But there are some builders in here that can probably help..
