Can't keep my bike running, (it will rarely start). It has sat longer then I have ever let it. (4 months). Fuel is coming out of carb after cranking it and catches fire for several seconds til the fuel disipates. Also popping and backfiring. I'm assuming something is stuck. I have already cleaned it and it was just reubuilt less than a year ago. Can anyone help me narrow it down then tell me how to fix it?

 

Sounds like the float is stuck. If you know how, remove the fuel bowl from the bottom of the carb and push the float back up. Guessing it got stuck down when the fuel evaporated out of it from sitting.
