I've got Rush slip-ons on my RK. Two years ago when I put them on, I though they had 2" baffles. I also run the V&H Fuelpak, and today I was looking at the tuning numbers they give. For some reason I tuned it for 2 1/4" baffles, maybe that's what they are supposed to be(?). The numbers are different for the two different sizes, and now and then I do have a popping on deceleration. I pulled the baffle out of one side and measured the inside diameter. It measures 2 1/8", maybe a little under. V&H says Rush makes a 2" quiet, a 2 1/4" standard, and a 2 1/4" loud. So if I've got 2", it means it's tuned incorrectly, hence the pop. If I've got 2 1/4", the tuning is ok, it just pops a little now and then. I wouldn't mind it being a little louder, but it's fine the way it is. So I'm wondering if I have the 2" quiet, and need to retune.

How can I find out which one I've got?

Do you happen to have the part number for the pipes that you have? When we sell them out of the Rush catalog the pn# signifies the baffle. Like a 15301-175 would be 1.34" baffle, 15301-200 would be 2" baffle and so on.

 

Ok, that answers it. the last numbers are 225, 2 1/4".
