Default Exhaust Issue

What would be the sympton of one exhaust showing black and the other showing a lighter color? The one showing black is the front exhaust. I would have thought that both would be the same color. Is this an issue that I should be concerned about? Engine: 1999 Evo, S&S Super E carb with Thunderjet, VanceHines Long Shots, Screaming Eagle Heads, stock pistons, cam is Andrews EV27. Appreciate any assistance. Thanks.

What do you mean about showing black? Smoke or pipe discoloration? If smoke, probably running rich....

BAGGERDSM - Thanks for your response. I'm talking about black color (as in rich) in the pipe. The other pipe color is considerably lighter. Plugs are good. Just to be clear...I'm not referring to exterior pipe discoloration. Not sure it's a real issue; it just bugs the heck out of me to see the different coloring in the the two exhaust pipes.
