Honestly, I would run plain old simple Autolite 4164's. Cheaper than HD stockers. R&R runs those plugs in all their builds also.

Thanks guys.I give the Autolites a try.
Beats $15.98 plus 9 1/4 % tax for the SE's!

I guess I have to respectivley disagree. A Twin cam motor shoud only use the Harley 6R12 plugs as this is what they were set up on. The reason I say this I have pulled many plugs out and replaced with the 6R12's as the Ion Sensing system is very sensitive to a current change. If you look at Spark Knock and the system it does not take much of a current/voltage change to throw the system off and it will pull timing and hurt performance. I have a full box of Harley Gold's, Platinums, Autolite, Champions etc.etc that I have pulled and when replaced with the 6R12's all is good and the Ion sensing system works just fine. Just to keep things on a level playing field I also have several 6R12's that showed a problem and when I replaced them with new 6R12's the Ion sensing system worked just fine. I am not saying the other plugs absolutely will not work I am saying why change from the stock 6R12's. This is one of the first test I run to make sure the plugs and Ion Sensing system are in sync. It really will hurt a tune if the Ion Sensing system is pulling timing because of a plug. I should also say I have seen plug wires and igntion coils cause similar problems. Make sure to check the data.

NGK DCPR8E's. Period. On the hot-rods, there are gapped at .035".
