Default Automotive Machine 105" kit

Has anyone bought the 105" (or even the 96" for TC88 engines) Big Bore kit for the TC96 from Automotive Machine? Price looks a little too good to be true. A little cheaper than the 103" SE stage 1 (from Zanotti's), plus you get 2 more ci, and I don't need the air cleaner and what not in the SE kit. I'd probably get the heads ported/polished also.

Thanks for any input.

Don't know, I'm curious about these kits as well, specifically the 96" for my TC88. Especially since their place is right down the road from me. Philm, is who first introduced me to these guys b/c they have good prices on D&D Fat Cats. Hopefully someone will chime in. Not sure if Philm has any experience with their BB kits.

Yeah, I bought my FatCat from them. No complaints there, I just would like to know about their machine works before bolting on trouble.

I have been involved with two 88 to 96 ams kits and I bought my gear drives from them. (they matched the best deal on the cams) Tom at AMS is excellent to deal with. Both 96 builds made excellent power one on a roadking with 26 cams the other on a softail with 37 cams. One of the builds had a valve guide come loose and did a fair amount of damage with in about 1000 miles and AMS stood behind everything and paid to have it put back together as well as replace all the parts.

I highly recommended them. I did a AMS 96" kit on a friends 00 RK last year. He couldn't be happier. You couldn't ask for a better group of people to work with.
