Default Lash question: new pushrods?

At what point do I need to go to adjustable pushrods? If I use a .030 gasket can I use the stock rods? I'm putting on a 95" kit and SE 203 cams and wanted to eek as much compression out as possible without spending the $100 for rods.

You should be fine with the stock pushrods and a gasket that is .035 thinner. If you mill the surface of the heads much though, you might need to go with something a little shorter.

stock gasket is .052 when I measured mine. You will be fine. I decked my heads 37 and 38 thou and am using .030 hg and I wanted to use stock pr's but chickened out but from what a lot of experts tell me I would have been close but most likely ok.
