Default Back to stock mufflers ??

I have a 2005 FXD and had put on Vance & Hines Straight Shots ,an Arlen Ness Big Sucker breather kit and a Vance & Hines DynoJet kit with thunderslide modification. The bike runs and sounds great, but I am thinking of starting to take it to work when the weather gets a little warmer. The problem is I have to leave my house at 2:30 AM to get to work ,and the Straight Shots are a little too loud to be doing that every morning. I may be able get away with it for a few days, lol. If I put the stock exhaust back on but leave the breather and DynoJet kit in will it run like crap or give me better bottom end with the increased back pressure ?And am I gonna have to switch to a smaller carb jet ,or just adjust the mixture screw ? I've heard of people running modified exhaust without increasing air and/or fuel flow ,but I haven't heard of anyone running stock exhaust with aftermarket breather ,and re-jetted carb.

I switched back from Kerkers to Stockers on my 02 FLHTCI
I tweaked the mix ever so slightly on the power commander and I like the torque and sound.

quietly short shifting and being light on the throttle is the answer. You'll regret taking the pipes off and putting that sewing machine exhaust back on. Perhaps pushing it away from the house before starting it is an option and then WOT on the way home for a little payback.

The neighbors aren't the problem ,the police are ! Being I go to work at 2:30 AM I don't want the extra attention of being one of the few vehicles on the road . My ride to work is only 10 miles but it's patrolled by 5 different agencies . I don't have a problem with any LEO's but I have a CDL and drive a truck for a living and I don't need any tickets or points on my license. During the day I like the sound of loud pipes, but I don't wanna be harrassed by someone having a bad night or someone fresh out of the academy trying to prove something.

What about a longer, more quiet baffle for the current exhaust system? Split the difference as they say.

Don't believe you get any points or bad marks on your driving record , should just be a fixit ticket ! I get home from work anytime between 2-4AM and the Leo's never pay me any attention , could have a problem if I came into town hotrodding , but then that could be a problem anytime . Once I hit town I'm just above idle , try not to **** off the neighbors unless they are too noisey when I'm sleeping .

Don't go back to stock mufflers. You would be changing them back in a day or two.
Just go easy on the throttle and the police will leave you alone.
