my two cents:

I'm pulling the SE 103 set up off my Road King. It does not come close to the performance of the Patrick Racing big bore on my Road Star. I am replacing it with a Headquarters 107. I have met several people with this build and absolutly love it.

My friend is pulling the SE 110 off his Road Glide. He finally gave me his dyno numbers. I'd want to kick someones **** if I spent that kind of money and got the performance his bike does. He too is going with a Headquarters build.

If you want to go with SE I know where you can get 103 or 110 componets cheap

I have a 2008 Dyna Super Glide and you can see what parts is used in my signature. Dyno sheet is in my profile too. Not yet done with it. Gonna tune it again and should get about 105HP and 110 TQ. I like my 103 set up.

Doc is located near you with his abilities and how close you are to him you will have the best of both worlds.
Doc is the best tuner/builder around that i know of

+1 to that. If I lived down there that's definitely how I would do it. I've thought about going down just to get a dyno tune, hang around and ask questions.

yep Doc had a big hand in doing my build .
He trained Dave from JD's cycleworks and when it came time to build my motor Dave , Doc and myself talked and came up with the combo i have in my sig.
Next year i will be concentrating on some more bolt on goodies such as grips and stuff my motor is Done and it is done right. did not have to take it apart several times like i had to in the past . just build it and tune it.

I had my dealership mechanic/tuner build my 110 set up. For this kind of power they split the case and added a timkin bearing kit. I have power from bottom end through top end. I have the SE 258 cam and it pulls like a demon. I have over 10,000 miles of trouble free service from this engine. It does not run hot. I could not be happier.

I did the stage 3 103 upgrade to my 2008 RK and was mostly happy but all of the tq was in upper rpms. I now ride a 2010 RG and did most of the same stuff and I am much happier. HD changed the gearing of 6th in 2009 which gave the bike 14 more lbs of tq at 2800 rpms. I can send you the dyno sheet if you like. Email me at jmc092654@yahoo.com. I have 101 hp and 105 lbs of tq. Use the 259 cam and change the headers too, you'llbe happier. I went with the V&H Pro pipes. Not as loud as the Rinehart True Duals I had on the RK when cruising. Plenty loud when I want to be.

Not uncommon for us to see 115/115 with a 103" here.

Hey cardboard,
Those 103"s have been with the Wood 408, at 10.7 cr.
Have seen tuners extract 119/119 before, with a Wood 9B, 11.0 cr.
The 408 builds, come off idle almost with BIG torque, and do not let go of it untill redline.
The 9B set-ups, shift the power more to the right.
