Default LIL HELP WITH TAMK REMOVAL PLEASE

Hi,

Trying to install new bars and want to remove tank, WTF I got the bolts off and lifted to see a mess, I disconnected the breather hose on front of tank and wnted to check how to do the rest. I will also change out the Rocker Box bolts once tank is off Hate the stock ones. Any hints on simplfying the remaoval of tank on a 05 Fat Boy with a Carb? Thanks

Remove the dash (gotta take the gas cap off & work the rubber gromet around the lip of the filler neck, disconnect the fuel line frrm the petcock, remove two (2) bolts at front of tank, remove one (1) bolt under the nose of the seat (rear of tank), pull of the vent tune from the filler neck, and I believe there is an electrical connector that drives the fuel guage to disconnect.

After that, it should pull off....

What do you guys use in place of those factory fuel line clamps? I just replaced one with a hose clamp for now until I find something better.

I only took one side off and just used a regular clamp - screw type .
