Cams for the Glide.
Got a ?. Uncle just added his fourth Harley to his Garage. A road king think its a 02 or 03 with a a Screamin Eagle 95 Kit with 257? Cams Rhinehart true dual and some more goodies. Bought it for the ol lady and is going to de tune it a little for her. Says the bike doesnt do anything till about three grand then its like a rocket. Wanted to know what these cams would do in my bike, or for that matter will they even work in my bike? Hows it going to run? will it be drivable? Require new springs, pushrods or guides?
My St Glide is an 08 with a Power Commander, SE Heavy Breather and a Thunder header? Your thoughts and opinions would be greatly appreciated.

SE-203 cams are good, all-around cams with low/mid-range torque where you most need it. They peak at around 5500 rpm and work with stock heads and valve springs. For a touring bike, I think they're a nice choice.
The SE-257s are definitely high-end cams. They're also at their best with high compression pistons, head work, and big cube motors (103 ci+).
