Default Adj. Pushrods with enigine build??

First post here this is a great site. I am currently having some enigine mods done, SE stage II 103 kit with SE 255 cams i am wondering if i should go ahead and get the SE adj. pushrods as well as some performance valve springs. But right now $$$ is tight and i am going to leave the heads stock. Should i go ahead and add these to my build???? will i see better numbers with them?? any advice thanks

if you're taking the heads off, you can just re-use the existing pushrods and save some money. the stock valve springs are fine for that cam, and even bigger ones. no need to change those until you go really big.

No advantage, save the money on both. If you change cams later you can use adjustables to save work. Mike

Like the others said, save the money. Heck I'm running stock pushrods in my HQ Touring build. I measured up the needed pushrod length and found my stock pushrods were only .008 short so I said close enough and 10,000 miles later still no problems.

I just had my heads milled and ported for our high altitude. Hence I had to buy adjustable push-rods as I had obvious clearance issues. Prior to having the heads milled the bike had been upgraded to a 95" with 211 cams on the stock P-rods and it worked just fine.
