Default RB racing 2-1 pipes?

Anyone have knowledge of RB racing's 2 into 1 pipes? Have an '05 Sporty R with VH longshots now and need more mid range torque. Andrews N-6 cams, adjustable pushrods, heads ported, polished flowed, three angle valve job, heavier valve springs and keepers, Mikuni HRS 42-45, Dynotek box etc. Seems awfully flat in the middle with a really strong slam into a powerband around 4200 revs.
Like some input before sinking more money. Waiting for dyno time also. Scheduled for mid May.
Thanks

Richard,
I have used RB Racing 2 int 1 systems on my 05 Dyna Wide Glide (sold it), 08 Road King (sold it), and now on my 06 Street Glide. The quality is great, good customer service. They are fairly loud though. I have never had any of my bikes on the dyno, so I can't prove they make power, but by the seat of your pants they do. When I get a chance I will post a picture of my SG.
Good luck.
Tom

This the link to another forum that has a pretty good discussion on the RB Racing LSR 2-1 exhaust.

I just got the RB 2-1 propipe on my bike and it sounds awesome. I had serveral riding buddies talking me out of 2-1's cause of the sounds. They all love my new exh and said it was the best choice. You do not see many of them around either. The propipe is a straight pipe no baffles. but is a 2-1 and works great with injected bikes and has the open sound. Just like going to the race track. they also make a LSR and a Blackhole for baggers.

If you do some reading over at vtwin (engine mods), you might find allot of different views than what your getting here. Not many on that side have been happy and there is a thread right now where a guy talks about going from 2-2's to the LSR 2-1 and loses 10 hp. on the dyno.

What banana said. You might do well to seek more input as there seems to be about as many people who report positive experiences as those who report negatives. I have no first-hand experience with the company or its products, but did consider one of their pipes when I was in the market.

I lost 1.5hp and torque stayed the same as the pythons. Just about what RB told me would happen, but I bought the exhaust for my 95" build anyway so I wasn't dissapointed. The tuner can make a difference. Everybody is buying dynos these days and training is minamal at best with some dealers. I also found that out the hard way.
