Default TC CAM Ball Bearings Question and great link

Wanting to install cams in the RK, I've been a cam head lately. I found this link with EXCELLENT overview and Pics of the TC 88 cam chest and potential problems including the crank pin. Probably old news to Card Carrying Gear Heads.

Question:
If "...the factory replaced the rear ball bearing with a roller bearing (right), because the ball bearing was prone to failure..." picture 4, why does Andrews Gear Drive Kit # 288901 supply ball bearings for both shafts? I have a Harley Cam Kit that came with 2 ball bearings- same question...
