Default Which 2 into 1 pipe???

Thinking about trying a better suited pipe for power, but the only 2 into 1 pipes that catch my eye are the V&H Big Radius and the Hooker 4-bidden. The Hookers are in short supply but at a very good price. The V&H are a longer pipe and might make a little more power but at a nasty price compared to the Hookers.

Look on fleabay there is a bike shop out of new york selling a 2-1 pipe made by D&D for the American Iron Horse, softail chassis. These pipes are like new I bought onr for my 08 FXSTC and it fit like a glove all I had to do was weld the o2 bung in and the pipe only cost $175. This is a smokin deal for a D&D 2-1. Here is a pic of the pipe

I've got the BR 2-1 and I like it.. I'm not saying it's the best 2-1 on the market but it's a good pipe with nice looks.. By the same token I really like the Hooker FourBidden as well.. I almost bought one a few months ago when they were selling for $800 so when the price dropped on was on the phone with them ASAP.. 08 softail pipes were sold out.. I did hear the FourBiddens were damn hot if you aren't carefull.. I really like the look of that pipe..

D&D have a new 2:1 that has the muffler pointing up a little for extra clearance. They're called the 2:1 low-cats.

I had the fourbidden for awhile. You wont get the performance from it like you would with a real 2-1. The fourbidden performed worse on my bike than the BSS that I had at that time. I'll see if I can find the dyno sheet.

So far so good but only have 50 miles on the motor since the build. I have noticed an huge difference in the way the bike revs. I took it out the other day and opened it up and hit 110 rather quickly. Before it took a lot of road to hit that kind of speed. I used a base download off the disc so I can break the motor in. When I get some miles on it I will have it dynoed. Do you have the ability to copy the down load off the ecm, I wouldn't mind looking at it to see where the VE tables are set at. All you need are the cables and then copy them to disc or some thing. Would be pretty cool if you could. Let me know

Get the V&H Big Radius 2-1. You'll like it.

Well, I would be more than happy to, but the bike is still in winter storage.
Have not even heard the new pipes yet. I thought I might have made a mistake on the ProPipe Bp version. They already did the tune. Good results on paper. Can't wait to ride. Is your valve train noiser than before.
Might get bike out in 3 weeks.
