so it looks like this weekend i will try to pull cam cover and inspect everything, then i will probably install my #46 idle jet and SE breather kit. then i might get in there and check the primary chain tension, hell i might as well change the fluids too. anyone else have info keep it all coming.
thanks again

Check the primary chain tension and do a clutch adjustment and lube all the cables. I use Redline shockproof heavy for the tranny, Redline MTL for the primary and Amsoil 20/50 for the engine. Couldn't hurt to change the fork fluid as well and check the torque on all the critical fasteners. Let's you know everything is done and lets you get to know your own bike.

Might as well do it all at once assuming you have the time. Peace of mind is nice.

I have a really neat tool for checking the primary chain tension, I was going to post a link to it but I see the guy's website disappeared. It was made by Jeff Liot who did a lot with airplanes as well.

Yes, 3, 1 and 1. Also when you go into the rocker covers to pull the p-rods, you should drill out the holes in the rocker supports with a #43 drill bit to enlarge them for better oil return. See attached

They are on the rocker supports in the breather assembly. Look at the breather assembly in the pdf file that I sent you and you will see where it is located. It is easy to remove the support once you are in the rockers anyway.
