Hey guys...

The air filter that comes with the Screamin Eagle 'Heavy Breather' set-up has a small chrome cap (on the forward end) that comes pre-installed.

Has anyone had any success in removing the cap? I figure it is just glued on, but I have a plan for modification...and won't pay the $$$'s if I am not sure that I can get the cap off.

Any help is appreciated.

 

mines glued on,dont think you can remove without tearing the filter.
