Well guys went on about a 300 mile ride the other day and by the time i got home my head was ringing so bad it wasnt funny.I love the sound of these pipes but man the exhaust sound is just beating off the side of my head.I was wondering if anyone knows of a better baffle i might be able to put in them.If not there coming off and selling them and putting my stockers back on.Its a shame the pipes only have 300 miles on them.They sounded great on the throttle,in town but cruising at 60-65mph oh my god.And yes the stock baffles are in.

 

Try the quiet baffles V&H sells for them. I hear it's not a drastic difference but does help. I have also heard they have a deeper throatier sound with them in. Check the cyclespot.com forums, there are allot of guys running those pipes over there that commented about them being loud also and some of the things they have done to tone them down.

 

Ear plugs work for me, even a custom made pair alot less $ and PIA than changing baffles. I only put em in when I'm running along way at frwy speed

 

Well i think im going to see about trading these off for something else or selling them out right i called v&h and was informed they dont make a quieter baffle for this pipe.So back to the drawing board.Maybe i will try a set of just of aftermarket mufflers on the stock down pipes.

 

What about putting some baffle packing in them?
