Default O2 Sensor Question

I am installing some V&H BSS on my 08 Fatboy. In removing the stock exhaust the manual says to unplug the wire from the O2 sensor. This may sound dumb, but how the he11 is that wire held onto the sensor? I didn't want to just start yanking on the wires. Can someone enlighten me on this seemingly simple procedure?

They are plugged in. Front sensor plug is under the plastic cover on top of the regulator. Rear sensor plug is clipped underneath the oil tank. That one can be a bit of a dick to unclip and reclip to the tank. Just follow the wires and you will find the connectors.
