RE: S&S air cleaner and exhaust kit for EFI
Is this an air cleaner and exhaust change. If it opens the breathing up very much at all, there is going to be the need to enrichen the fuel/air mixture. If you are gaining 10 HP, I would guess that you are definately opening it up. These bikes come from the factory very lean, and adding more air, (free flowing air cleaner and mufflers) makes them leaner, if you don't remap to add more fuel.

Thanks for your input guys I dont know much about this remapping stuff but it seems like a cheap way to get a little more sound and let the engine breath. It only changes the mufflers not the complete exhaust maybe thats why they say you dont need to remap anything its on pg 284 in the dennis kirk catalog if you want to check it out.

If it's only a muffler change you might not have to remap, but take a good look at the plugs after the upgrade to be sure. You sure don't want to run any leaner than it already is.
For not too much more money, $350.00, you could go ahead and add the high flow air cleaner and have the HD shop re-map. This will give you a pretty good increase in HP and Torque.
