I swore I wasn't going to comment on this thread as I have before on similar threads but I just couldn't resist putting my two cents in. I had 2 failures and then I was given the new Wiseco pistons and rings. Guess what? Another failure. That was when I switched to bored stock cylinders, no problems. My own opinion is it wasn't that they were Nikasil but whoever did the plating and the finishing didn't know what they are doing. I do feel I was kind of hung out to dry by the vendor I bought them from. I was offered a "deal" which consisted of boring my stockers and supplying pistons/rings...all for about $100 more than what I ended up paying for them through another well known vendor.
