Default starter question

can hd starters be rebuilt or do they have to be replaced
my starter went to hell in a hand bag ?
Well after reading the three post, I have to know can my stock starter
be rebuilt into a 1.4kw starter or will the starter case be too small?

You can rebuild them. If you have a parts book for your model it is easer to get parts from HD because some of the parts guys are retarded and can't or wont find them. And you can get parts from aftermarket suppliers.
