I have them and now and then I forget. The starter does have to labor more to get going.

My Fatboy has a little bitty battery. Nomatter the best I can get.

Compression releases will give another couple potential tries if trouble comes along.

this thread is over a year old but for what it is worth I went with a new
HD heavy duty starter and no more problems
