I have a 2008 Ultra with reinhardt tru duals and would like to put fishtails on them except reinhardt does not offer them. Does anyone know if someone else makes a fishtail tip that will fit on the reinhardts ? Also will this change the sound very much? I love the sound of them now. What about the PCIII will it have to be recailibrated? Thanks for any help.

 

I guess no one has seen or heard of this. Bummer I really like the fishtails.

 

I get guys wanting them all the time, maybe someone will read this and make a bolt on set(?) The only way I've made a set fit is to get an adapter that PYO makes to fit their tips to rineharts, use either a set of supertrapp or -92 HD fishtails, you'll have to be a little creative to install the hardware but no fabrication.

 

Supertrapp is the only choice, unless you opt for straight thru fish-fins. Would be LOUD, and a real bear to tune, also.

 

well I had a guy come in the shop yesterday and asked for the fishtails for his Rineharts (might have been you?) so (again) I called Bub, the person told me "off the record" that Rush makes a tip compaitble muffler that fit the Rinehart head pipes that will accept the -92 HD tip or the supertrapp ones, damn I knew they made them mufflers but I never thought about the tip compatible ones.

 

So are you telling me I need to change the mufflers also? I really like the sound of the rineharts and would like to keep it as close to that as possible. Was not me in your store as I live in Cincinnati although I did get to ride today for a couple of hours after work as it got to about 48 degrees here today. If I get the ST tips where do I get the adapter that makes it fit to the rineharts? Also does the adapter show or is it only on the inside of the pipes? Thanks for all of your help.
