Has anyone on the forum used these pipes (martin brothers medustas) I am thinking about putting them on a new 2009 Rocker C, what are the heat shields like? do they cover the whole pipe? are they loud with the baffles out? will they scrape the ground?
Thanks in Advance

all pipes will blue that is a condition that has to do with tune ..
heat and a lean condition will cause the pipes to blue . even if the bike is tuned properly they will blue but the heat shields cover most of it tho. after the pipe swap you will need to get the bike tuned and you should have some type of tuning device such as TTS or SEST or power commaander.
i would invest in a tuning device before the pipes and i would check around to see what the guys in your area are using for the devices, then after that get the pipes.
