Default What do you think about this build?

I have a standard Harley 103 kit with stock heads and a Wood 6-6 cam and Rinehart true duals.
It sure runs better than stock, but I would like to improve how it runs. I'd like to hear what ya'll think about this set up.
Hillside stage three heads. set up with a 85cc chamber and ready to accept a cam in the future that might have a 652 lift. Compression between 10 and 10.5 to 1. Valve size about 1.94 intake and 1.63 exhaust.
Rod's Performance would true and balance the crank & flywheel and install timkin bearings.
I would like to keep the flat top pistons in place to avoid the cost of pistons and cylinder work.
What are your opinions on this combination?
Would I have to have new pistons for enough valve relief and compression?

i think the improvement you see with the hillside head work and a new tune will be impressive even with the cam you have .getting a GOOD tune is going to be the key.

Yup, wouldn't change the cams but would deffinately do the headwork! Will be very strong with power in needed areas! If ya really want to change em consider the 7's

I think GMR Steve posted up that the stock flat top 103 pistons aren't cut for larger valves than stock. Better check with Scott to make sure.

2nd that!!!!!!! A REAL NICE MASSAGE on those heads. And that WOODS 6 cam is tough to beat for versatility.

disclaimer
i dont have hillside heads " yet "

but im one of those nuts who reads and studies more that you can possibly imagine , then i start sending pms/emails before moving on to phone calls .all that incrediblly wastefull has taught me that scott and the guys at hillside have a GREAT rep for not only quality work but going the extra mile in customer service.
