Is it OK to...

RE: Is it OK to...
The sending unit, filter, pump, regulator and associated hoses are inside the tank, submerged in the fuel.... If you would happen to have a small hole in the line between the filter and the quik-lock for the tank, you are going to pick up a small amount of contamination.... the Quik-lok is the only point that the fuel exits the fuel tank.... after that, it is atraight to the induction module... The fuel filters are good quality nowadays... better than the oil filters. The change interval is like 25 or 30k I think for the late models...
The newer tanks are less prone to rusting or sliming as the "Old School" tanks needed to be Kreemed, or Sealed... the new ones have a very good epoxy that is the liner....
As I stated earlier, with injector cleaner, you are merely thinning out an already decent (You hope) fuel with more additives... Less usable fuel, less useable power... Check out your plugs, more than likely, they will have an orange or red tint to them... Not that chocolate color that you need...
What reduces that accumulation of carbon inside the combustion chamber is PROPER TUNING.....
