Default New jugs for the mistress.

Finally going to brave an 88" to a 95" build on my 06 fxst. Sofar going to use mostly Harley parts due to the nice gift card Mrs. Clause gave Mr. Clause, and in hopes the it'll help out HD stock. Anyway, I went with 10.25 cast pistons and new jugs, SE-211 cams, adj. pushrod upgrade, and a pc3. The heads will be left be except for compression release valves, I may upgrade the valve springs.
The comp. release valves, High proformance head gaskets and pc3 had to be ordered, but hopefully they'll arive in time when there use will be needed, but due to the Holidays, might add a few extra days. I think that this should be a very good setup, I HOPE!!!, and I'm looking forward to running it in a week or two.

Quite a bit of power left in the untouched heads. Just saying.

Thumbs up

Sounds like you have ever thing in order, to your liking. Personally , "I WOULD PORT THOSE HEADS", while you already have them off. And go with stronger valve springs, i used CRANE but its your choice in the end. Just my 2 cents, GOOD LUCK with your build!!!!!!!!!!!!

You got to do the head work that bike will wake up with that much work. I guess if you do the heads you will see 104hp plus....

Just did a bike with B motor..
se 211 cams
95 inch bore
se forged pistions for 95 inch
V&H straight shots
se performance heads (not much) just cleaned them up a little.

101/104 tq. Could of got more if he let me use 2 into 1 pipe. And more head work. I put a dyno with it. So you can see.. I hope this helps.....

O.k. I do beleave I've been swadded into having some head work done. So other than springs and porting, is there anything else, within reason? Also should I look into feeding this beast with a larger throttle body and injectors?

Have larger valves installed.

Got the heads off today and will take them to local dude for work. He says to also bring throttle body for porting too. He says that HP gain vs money spent on larger valves may not be worth it in my case, he did say that he replaced the stock valves with some of better quality, but said that the stock beehive springs would do. About $500.00 for what he said should gain all of about 4 to 6 HP.
Does this sound doable? Maybe get the porting done and leave the stock valves in and try for a $300.00 bill. Then still yet he says that the larger throttle body and injectors could bring another 4 to 6 also, but warned that it could also be a bit overkill.

You are one lucky ba$tard. My buddy has a set of zero mile 96 CI heads and pistons from his 07 ultra he said he would GIVE me. Problem is the free heads will cost a lot of money in the end. Cant wait to hear the results of your build...
