Hey Crazy, running the o'l factory head pipes and SE2 slipons with Big City Thunder baffles. Yea, I know, trash them and go for a 2 into1 system. But I like my stagered duals and the only 2 into 1 system that really catches my eye is the Big Radius, and I've yet to hear anyone comment about if they're worth a hoot. At the same time I can't help but wonder how much power and performance would be gained by switching to a 2 into1?

Glad to hear you are happy with what you've done.
I switched from a 2-1 Python (made by V&H for Drag Specialities) to the V&H big shot staggereds. I also switched from a PCIII to a SERT.
All in all, I lost 4 hp and 5 tq.
What I hated about the 2-1 was it made power at the top end and I couldn't stand winding it out all the time. Now the power comes on early and I shift early, keeping the RPMs nice and low.
I'd rather hammer the bearings out of the bottom end lugging it a bit than blow a valve through the gas tank and my chin rapping it to redline on every gear.

U CUT 1,
If you check my signature pic. I had a set of 2:1 Rineharts on. I've since taken
them off because of a big tq dip between 2500 to 3000rpm when doing a fifth gear
WOT roll on. I put back my stock head pipes with SE gaskets and a set of SEII slip-on
mufflers and the dip is gone now. I also feel more tq down low with this set up. Go
figure....
I'm thinking it's probably the 1 7/8 head pipe with open muffler on the Rineharts that
was the problem. Perhaps they are made for bigger bore engines. All this to say, there's
nothing wrong with the set-up you have man. And if you ever change pipes. Stick with
a 1 3/4 head pipe for good backpressure.

Yea, I'll stick with what I've got.
Crazy, I do like those rims, I almost went with the Vega.
B, map is working good. A bit rich running on cold start, but leans out after it's warmed up. Man does this thing HIT. The 10.25 pistons, the 211 cam, and pipes do the trick. Was told that it sounds like a dragster:-] And to what I had, it feels like it runs like one too.
