Question? Why toss the clamps out that came with the V&H oval and use new TORCA clamps from HD?

I just spent 1/2 day putting bub true dual head pipe & V&H oval on. Use all new hardware. Do they leak?

Torca is a better stronger clamp. If you compare the two you can see the difference. If you don't have any exhaust leaks using the V&H clamp then you have no worries. Cheers!

 

So how do you know if your clamps leak?

I installed true duals with V&H ovals and had no issue with the clamps that came with them. Only 300 miles since the install, but I would think if they were going to leak they would have from the get go.

 

Put something like a piece of cardboard over the end of your muffler when the bike is sitting still and idling, you will quickly find any exhaust leakage. Works easier with 2 people.........BG
