Default Paint Removal from the engine

The guy I bought my Dyna from had the engine painted a nasty teal color to match some ugly teal seats he had made. Does anyone know of anything I can use to remove the paint, without resorting to pulling the engine and blasting it? I have tried "Back to Nature's Ready Strip" but it doesn't seem to be working very well. Whatever I use will have to be safe to use on the aluminum.

It won,t be easy to do without pulling the motor. At autoparts stores they sell "aircraft remover". It will remove any paint you put it on and won,t damage or stain the aluminum. It will remove powder coating as well. I don't see how you can do the entire engine while it is in the bike without damaging other paint or powdercoat, like the frame.

Any blasting would also be out of the question as the smallest amount ingested into your engine will do damage and it does find a way in no matter how careful you are............BG

Just a suggestion...you might be able to find someone who can blast it with dry ice. It won't hurt the insides.
