I have read about 10,000 post & comments about building
an ever more fire breathing monster motor and I still don't
know jack!!!! So now who would you recomend in Texas to
build me one of those mean monsters............kev

What part of Texas? I would be interested in knowing a good wrench in Dallas/Fort Worth for some engine work as well (cams, big bore, etc.)

Baytown is a ways from me, but it is only 1 hour from my parents place, so that is a possibility.

Don't know of anyone in Texas but there's this guy in Iowa I could recommend, the speed costs, how high do you want to fly?

We just had a client hand-carry his bike to us from Beaumont.
117", with a Wood 408 build.
Big ,broad power.

This motor building is a costly thing. I managed to spend over $4000 and I did my own wrenching. Wolf did the heads, NRHS the cylinders and pistons and the other stuff, lots of parts.
Time you include everything needed for the process, from intakes moduals on (still need that) can go much higher. If somebody else does it, hang on.
A craftsman doing beautiful work is worth it. Doesn't matter what the work.
