Default Part I.D.??

Easy question for someone, I'm sure...

'00 FLSTC... behind my little 5-screw timing cover on the right side of the motor, there is a sensor. What is it? Cam position or something?

Best place for service manuals?

TIA,

K.

Yep, Cam position Sensor. The sprocket that drives the rear cam has a section on it that sticks out for approx 1/2 the diameter, which rides in between the sensor.

Dealer is the best source for a manual AFIK.

Ok... So doing a little reading on the DTT website they say it's best to unplug the cam sensor when running their ignition setup... Any thoughts...?? I'm running their TC-88 on my bike.
